About Peter Lyndon-James
Peter Lyndon-James is the founder of Shalom House, one of Australia’s largest and most successful self-funded residential rehabilitation programs.
After spending 26 years caught in crime, addiction and the prison system, Peter rebuilt his life and began helping men who were facing the same struggles he once had. What started with simply supporting a few men quickly grew as more people came seeking help.
Over the past 15 years, Peter has built Shalom House from the ground up, developing a structured and disciplined rehabilitation program that has helped hundreds of men, women and families break free from addiction and rebuild their lives.
Peter is also an author and speaker, sharing the lessons learned from decades of lived experience in addiction recovery, rehabilitation and personal transformation. His work is direct, honest and grounded in the belief that real change is possible when people are given the structure, accountability and support to rebuild their lives.
